My bilingual poetry books

Welcome to my poetry corner—a quiet space where I write in both English and Spanish, listening closely to my feelings and choosing simple, honest words. My poems are born from the heart and grounded in lived experience, unfolding gently at their own pace. Some spring from nostalgia, others from laughter, and many from that invisible border you carry when you belong to two places at once.

My writing is shaped by the light of the Spanish countryside: memories of childhood, shifting landscapes, and the small things that linger with us. It is also shaped by gentle endings—learning to let go, choosing freedom, and holding on to what truly matters. In my poems, Spain and England live side by side—fields and village life, rain-soaked streets, classrooms, travel, longing—woven together as an emotional map drawn slowly, truthfully.

I am the author of Dreams Can Fly – Los sueños pueden volar, a collection of bilingual stories for children. The book began as a theatre piece created with language learners at a specialist primary school in Spain.
